Meet Diane

Photographer. Storyteller. Francophile.

We didn’t decide to move to France just for the wine (though let’s be honest, that didn’t hurt). Neal and I made the leap because we wanted a life that wasn’t defined by constant work.

France has been my longtime love affair — the cheese, the bread, the art and architecture, the markets and the villages where time seems to move slower. The language almost scared us off, but the culture — and the chance to live more fully — pulled us here.

We haven’t quite arrived yet. We’re in the messy, exciting, and slightly terrifying process of making the move. Which means you get a front-row seat to the journey: the wins, the hiccups, and the occasional “what have we done?” moments. When I say “we”, I mean my husband, Neal, and our (ridiculously cute) dog Maggie, who will definitely be popping up in many of the blogs and podcasts.

Through it all, I’m still doing what I’ve always done — reaching for my camera. Photography helps me notice the details, hold onto the magic, and laugh at the absurdities. And now, I get to share all of that with you.

I’m Diane — proof that you don’t need perfect light (or perfect French) to tell a great story.

My work is about celebrating real moments: the messy, the magical, and everything in between. I want to inspire you to slow down, look closer, and maybe even laugh at the quirky bits of life along the way.

So grab a glass of wine, pull up a chair, and join me on this perfectly imperfect adventure. Life’s too short not to savor it — and I’d love to share a little of ours with you.
